~安藤忠雄や丹下健三の宿が載っているというので、
広く知られた高級ホテルの紹介本かなと思って手に取ったのですが、
中に並ぶ名前はまったく違っていて、
１泊2000円で泊まれる宿や、蔵王の最高の場所に立つ防衛庁の宿というので
驚きました。
他にもたくさん、格安の公共の宿や民宿も載っていたりして、
これは民宿、公共の宿から高級ホテル、旅館まで~~網羅した、
私にとって貴重なガイドになっています。~

やっぱり今回の稲葉なおとさんの本も私の期待通りでした。
写真がいつものように美しく、
「私」という各章の主人公を、
読み進むうちにいつの間にか
自分自身に置き換えて読んでいることに気づかされます。
中に紹介された野沢のスキーロッジや都内の県民のための宿泊所は、
私自身何度か利用したことがあったのに、
実は有名な建築家の作品だとはまったく知りませんでした。
知らなかった「巨匠の宿」がほとんどですが、
すでに知っている場所にも、あらためて訪ねたくなります。
