　読んだあと、とにかく、痛快で、それでいてなんだか、ノスタルジックな気分になりました。物語中に書かれている、テスト期間中の様子、生徒たちのカンニング大作戦、「ああ！わかるわかる！」とにかく、誰もが共感できるような面白さがあると思います。

　また、『俺はどしゃぶり』の主人公の大学時代の出来事を綴った「俺はキャプテン」「ＮＧ胸を張れ」も、主人公の幼児時代、小学校時代の思い出がところどころに織り込んであって、自分の子ども時代が目に浮かんでくるような気持ちになります。そして、大学を卒業して社会人になっていくアメフトの仲間たちのことについて、思いを馳せる、最後の駅のシーンは、圧巻です！　グッとくるものがあります。
　スピード感の溢れる文章あり、ゆっくりと流れる文章あり、とにかく読んでいて面白いです。ちょっとつらいことがあったときに、読んでみたくなる本です。オススメですよ！
