一仕事終えて、開放感にかられながら、見知らぬ町をさ迷うのは、楽しみの一つでもあります。

ただ、従来のガイドブックは、旅行ガイドが中心で、居酒屋の情報は、なかなか得られないのが実情です。過去に、結構高く「ぼられた」経験もありますので、何も知らない店に足を踏み入れるのは、少し勇気がいりますね。

そう言う意味でも、この本に書かれた店の雰囲気や印象は大事な情報です。地図も詳細ですし、電話番号、営業時間、酒・料理の値段等、痒い所に手が届くような編集がされています。「明朗会計」を選択の基本にしてあり、筆者の判断により「名酒」「名料理」「名居心地」というマークが目安になっていて、使い勝手もいいですね。

出張先だけでなく、地元の居酒屋の情報もとても詳しく本当に感心してしまいました。地元におりながら、知らない店がほとんどでしたから。
「いざかやみしゅらん」という書名もステキです。これを片手に次はどこへいこうかと思案しています。

単に表面的にオシャレな店や、変わった料理を出す店などを総花的に紹介しているガイド本とは違い、各地のオススメの店を「いい酒、いい人、いい肴」を基準として紹介している。
しかもこの本のありがたい点は、「一人でもOK」の店を中心に選んでいること。
出張するこのとある30代以上のサラリーマン諸氏に、ゼヒオススメしたい一冊です。

一人でも入れて、値段も良心的な居酒屋。そして、料理やお酒が非常に洗練されていて、マスターやスタッフ、他のお客さんとのふれあいにより醸し出される雰囲気に、時の経つのも忘れられる居酒屋。仕事帰りにそんな居酒屋で一杯やるのはどんなに気持ちの良いことか。

この本では、北海道から沖縄まで、日本全国の居酒屋が紹介されている。写真は一切なく、簡潔な文章のみ。だからこそ一層興味をそそられる。

私も、出張や遠出の際にはたいてい持ち歩いている。
