初めて読んだ時、涙が止まりませんでした。
「少年」とよく似た境遇にある自分にとって、本当に必要だったのは癒しではなく理解だったのだと知りました。
辛くてもめげずに生きていこう。そんな気にさせてくれた本でした。
全ての「うまくしゃべれない子供」達に（もちろん大人にも）この本を読んでもらいたいです。

「個人的なお話」ということで自分によく似た少年をﾓﾃﾞﾙにした作品。吃音を持ち、父の仕事の都合から転校を繰り返す少年。小学1年の時、思ったことを何でも話せる「きよしこ」という友達を夢見、ｸﾘｽﾏｽｲﾌﾞ彼と旅をした『きよしこ』、小学3年の夏休みに通ったｾﾐﾅｰで知り合った加藤君の『乗り換え案内』、小学5年の時近所の神社知り合った近所のｱﾙ中のおっちゃんとの思い出『ﾄﾞﾝｸﾞﾘの心』、小学6年の時先生の娘の手術を気にしながらお別れ会の劇を練習する感動的な『北風ぴゅう太』、中学2年の時の親友の話『ｹﾞﾙﾏ』、高校3年の時野球部に入ってきた大野との『交差点』、受験の時つきあったY大の2つ年上の女性の『東京』どもりを持つ少年と家族、友人との交流、少年の本当の気持ち…涙が出る程良かった。重松清の十八番

「きよしこ」
泣きながら読んだ本って初めてです。
主人公の心の奥にある深い思いに、声を出して泣いてしまいました。
かわいそう・・・そういう思いではないのです。
何かに悩んでいるとき、落ち込んでいるとき
誰かに愛されたいとき、
是非、手にとって読んでみてください。
