枕草子が好きなので買って読んでみました。
枕草子の中では日記的章段が読んでいておもしろいかと思うのですが、この本は類聚的章段、いわゆるものづくしを扱っています。
そのものの並べ方から、清少納言の人柄に迫っていく作者の発想は自由奔放で読んでいて楽しかったです。

訳と、あと現代ならこんな感じだろう、という事例が並べられていて、単調になりがちな類聚的章段が楽しく読めます。
ただ、ちょっと自己解釈の色が強いかな、という気がする部分もあるにはありました。

「枕草子」を堅苦しく、面白くないものとおもっていたので、今まで読もうとしたことがなかったのですが、これを読んで、いつか暇な時に読んでみてもいいなという気持ちになりました。清少納言という人のイメージもかわりました。

枕草子関連の本だったので読んでみました。
随筆家の本と言うことですが私はこの人を存じません。
枕草子は主に日記的章段、随筆的章段、類聚的章段と分けられるのが通例ですが、読んでておもしろいのは何と言っても日記的章談だと思います。
けれどこの本では類聚的章段、いわゆるものづくしを扱っています。

ものづくしを読むことによって、筆者清少納言のひととなり、心に迫ろうとしています。その発想は自由で読んでいて退屈になりがちなものづくしが楽しく読めます。
訳と、現代だったらこんな感じ、というパターンも書いてあるので、飽きずに読めるかと思います。
