ひろさちやの般若心経88講は、一章あたり5~6頁で計88章余りで構成された般若心経の解説書です。
解説書とはいっても、これが本当にお経の本なのか、と思うほどに砕けた内容のものです。多くのエピソードや譬えを用いて、筆者なりの解釈を伝えています。
一章が数頁なので、読み進めやすいと思います。

著者の本は、「禅がわかる本」に続いて二冊目です。今回は、般若心経とは、どんなことをいっているのか、知りたく、著者の気取らない解釈の仕方に心引かれ、読んでみました。内容に関しては、NHKのテレビの企画を本にしたものらしく（だから、無理やり八十八講になっている）、期待したものは、ありませんでした。たとえ話や公案などの例も、前回、私が読んだものと、重複して、引用しているものも、多数あり、また、解釈に関しても、すこし、無理があるのでは？と思ってしまうところがあり、著者のファンになりかけた私にとっては、残念な本でした。著者の本では、企画本ではないものをおすすめします。

健康で長生きするためには体のみならず心の健康も大切です。
この本は大乗仏教の立場から般若心経を読み解いています。
私自身は宗教は信じない性質ですが、その言わんとしている
心の持ち方は理解でき、健康な精神を作るエッセンスが伝
わってきました。今まではお坊さんがお経を読んでいても
ただ眠くなるだけでしたが、この本はお経の意味をわかり
易く説明してくれていてお経って意外と面白いんだなと思
いました。般若心経が説いている「こだわらない」生き方
で心の平静を保ち、楽な気持ちで生きていけたらいいなと
思いました。
