生物学的見地から、性に関する様々な現象、事象の説明を試みる。多くの研究を引用しておりその点もおもしろい。興味を持てばさらに先に進める。この人の本は、いつもおもしろい。
近作とあって、「ワニ~」より文章も読ませる。作家としてもかなりレベルがあがった。

気軽に楽しんで読める科学本~竹内流の切り口は小気味よく気分転換には最高の一冊となりました。引用されているデータやコメントは正確なものが多く、『えっそうなのか~』と驚ける楽しい本でした。

真剣な科学本として読むと解釈や着地点に疑問が残るかもしれませんが、動物学の知識が薄い私には知的好奇心を満たしてくれる刺激的な一冊でした。

データが豊富で，おもしろい！
「生物学的に正しい話」とはどんなことか知りたい、と思ったので購入しました。

内容的には本格的な研究データが引用されており、そのデータ自体に「へぇ。」と驚かされます。その解釈はやはり竹内さん独特の論調ですが、これだけ具体的なデータが明示されていますのでそのデータを自分で再解釈して読むことができます！！
