春樹ファンにはたまらない、往年の春樹が帰ってきた。そんな情報が溢れれば溢れるほど、いささか春樹作品に食傷気味だった私はこの本を手に取るのが億劫で、しかしいざ読み始めると文章力も相まって一気に読む事ができました。ですが、これら手法、構成、言い回しに何の新しい感動もなく、ただこれまでの春樹作品のファンだった方たちがなぜこれほどまでにありがたがるのか分かりません。むしろ、まだ村上春樹の小説を読んだ事ない人達こそ面白がって読むんじゃないかなぁと感じました。絶対的に読ませる力を持った作家である事は間違いないわけですから。

5.0 out of 5 stars ノルウェイの森から海辺のカフカまで, 2004/9/24
「ノルウェイの森」のころの村上春樹って「喪失感」っていうものがキーワードだと思うんです。「失われたもの」に対して追いかけて、でも手に入らなくて、という感じ。ただ今回は少し、その「失われたもの」との距離が違っているんです。そこが作者の成長、ないし変化があると思うんです。正直、僕は「ノルウェイの森」よりもこっちの方が好きです。読者を選ぶ作品だと思いますが、でも忘れられない話になる人もたくさんいると思います。少年を主人公に選んだのもこの作者には、初めてでそれも新鮮でした。

タイトルの通り僕は初めて村上作品を読むんですがよく言われるようにやはり

少し難しい．．．僕はこの作品で初めてメタファーという言葉を目にしてその意味がわからないとどうにも進みようがないので調べたりしたんですが，やはりある程度教養（過去の文学作品や言語学的な用語の知識）を知らないとやはり難解かと思われます．僕は高三その程度なのでそういう意味では中学生を主人公としていながらも中学生には読みづらくなっていると思います．既に一回
読んだのですがこのレビューに｢何回も読むと違う味わいが出てくる｣と書いている方がいらっしゃったので何回も読み直してみたいと思います．ついでに他の村上作品も．評価としては星三つということですが現時点でのことなので
悪しからず．
