前半は理子と亜紀の女同士の対決、後半は二人が手を結んで売上アップのために頑張る、という話だけど。
そもそもこのふたりが魅力的でない。
理子は理性的で仕事ができる女、のフリをして、実は仕事に私情入れまくり。
亜紀はワガママお嬢さまのようでいて、実は仕事に思い入れのある働く女、のフリをして、やっぱりジコチューな独断女。
どっちにも感情移入できない。
ふたりを取り巻く登場人物たちも、ちょろっと出るだけの小粒キャラ以外は、どれもこれもサイテーなヤツばかりってのはどうなんでしょう。
売上アップのためのイベントの数々も、これで月５００万は無理でしょう。
とにかく読んでて爽快感の欠片もなく、しかもオチがこれでは…。ありえなさすぎ。

26歳、コネ入社、大手出版社の編集と結婚した、若き新婚女子。
40歳、失恋直後、副店長で煙たがられているお局女子。
ふたりが勤める書店が、テナントビルの家賃の値上げで大ピンチ！
ツブされてなるものかとお互い気に食わない相手だけど一時休戦、
店を盛りたてて、目指せ、売り上げ500万ｕｐ！


著者2作目も、闘う（=働く）女性を主人公にしたお仕事モノ。
前半は、お局さんｖｓ新婚若い女子の小競り合いが続く。
これがくどくて長くて暗い。さっさと本題の「書店が危ない」
というところに入ってくれればいいのに、と思う。

書店の危機をあの手この手で回避しようと奮闘するに至るまでの
渡る世間は鬼ばかり、ここの書店はセコい小鬼ばかり、みたいな
雰囲気の悪さの描写が長すぎる。確かに「まとまりのなかった人たちが
何かをきっかけにチームプレイでお互いのいいところを知り、
認め合い、ともにがんばる話」って面白いんだけど、その不仲っぷりが
「ここまで職場でむき出しに好き嫌いやってたらだめだろう」レベルで
読んでいてうんざりしたので、後半の「売り上げ増やすぞがんばろう」
という段になるころはこっちが冷めちゃってたのでした…

後半の、皆の声が吸い上げられていい書店になっていく様子は読んでいて
小気味いいので、ますます暗い前半が残念。

日経で紹介されていたのがきっかけで読みました
超エリートのバリバリのキャリアウーマンでもないし
かといって　お気楽腰掛けOLさんでもなく
実際に働き悩む女性たちって　いろんな事情をかかえて
こうやって働いているんでしょう　
きれいごとやサスペンスではないところが妙にリアルに感じました

前半のよくある女性の意地悪だけでなく　男の嫉妬やねたみ
おまけに書店の裏事情も垣間見え
いつもビジネス書ばかりの私にはいい気分転換でした

今までは30才前後の女性の仕事か結婚かのような話が目につきましたが
最近はさらに年齢が進み　40前後が多くなったようにも思います
専門職だけでなく　管理職（この本の場合は書店店長）が多くなったなとも。
