本書は、現在テレビでドラマ化され放映されている。
この影響を受け、本書に興味を持ち、読んでみた。
楽しく、面白く、読めると考えていたが、期待外れもはなはだしかった。
主人公【君子】さんの、汚い言葉。汚い言葉の連続に、読んだ後の疲れは大きかった。

ものすごく期待していたんです、久しぶりのドメスティックコメディかと思い。
結果→2006年度のワースト本でした。
「お好きに花を活けて」と姑にすすめられると「オレはこんなチマチマしたことはできねー、
もっと単純な肉体労働をやらせろ!」と書き、そんな肉体労働の典型だろうお墓掃除になると
「(墓所が)広い、広すぎる。終了!!」とテキトーなとこで勝手に終わらせたと書く。
「皿洗いなら」と言ってたかと思うと「洗い物の量がハンパじゃない」とぶつくさぶつくさ。
結局、全否定ってか、目の前にある現実がイヤだっつーガキのたわ言にしか思えないです。

なにより。
この人、「遺体に似てる」「足がこの世のものとは思えないほど酸っぱ臭い」旦那と、なんで
結婚したんだろう？　“愛情”みたいなことを書くのが照れくさいんだろうけど、その要素が
皆無だとやはし感情移入できないよ。「旦那実家も実家だけど、オメーも相当な嫁だぜ」と、
どうしたってこんなふうに思ってしまうのです。
ドメスティックコメディに限らず、エッセイの基本は「自分をいかに客観視するか･できるか」だと
思うのですが、それと「開き直る」ってのは、似てるようでまったく違うんだなぁと実感しました。

保守的すぎるのかなぁ……でも笑えなかった。エラい嫁に嫁がれたよなぁ、と同情しちまいましたw。

日常のありのままをストレートに表現しているようですが
ちょっとブラックすぎる箇所が多々あり、読んでいて
ツライ気分になることもありました。
他人の人生を覗く楽しさもあり、笑えるところもありましたが
著者のご主人やご両親に対する愛情が感じられず、時にひどい書きようで
この人はこんな本を書いてしまって今後どのように家族と過ごすのか
心底心配になりました。
