なんの変哲もない一人の青年が ある事故をきっかけに自分の中の特殊な能力を知るに至ります。未来が見える能力の発現は主人公をとてつもなく孤独にします。 誰にも理解されず それでもひとり戦い続けていく主人公の なんと切なく悲しいことか。
キングといえばホラー王だと思われていますが この話は決してホラーではありません。 数あるキングの作品の中でも 特別なお勧め品です。ぜひに。

いい方向に裏切られた作品でした。
運命に押しつぶされる哀しみ、人の穢い部分、人同士のふれあいの暖かさ
とが程よく書き込まれていて、味わいが深い作品です。

キングってホラー作家でしょ？ホラー嫌いだから読まない、って人にお勧めしたい。
