とてもいい本です。
何度も何度も読みました。
そうさせる力を持っています。
この本は、きれいな言葉と生きる力に溢れている気がします。
リルケの考えに触れることは美しく生きるチャンスを与えてくれそうな、そんな気がします。

リルケを最初に知ったのは、「僧院生活の巻」と言う詩のなかの「私がその中から生まれてきた闇よ~」とうたわれる部分です。【新潮文庫 リルケ詩集 収録】
この詩には相当の衝撃を受けずっと詩集を読んでいたのですが、知人に薦められて読み始めたこの本がずっとその後10年以上もことあるごとに繰り返し読む特別な本になりました。

　言葉が陳腐かもしれませんが、ここにはまごころがあります。凛として厳しい詩人の魂が織り上げた最も美しいまごころが焼き付けられています。　この本を前にして、100年と言う時間は意味を持たずいまだ微熱を帯びているような気がします。

そうしてこの本は手紙を書き送られた若き詩人や女性だけでなく私やあなたのような「書かない詩人」の心に確かに届くのです。もっとも激しく、厳しく、美しい癒しとして。

リルケの若き詩人への手紙の一節の引用がでてきました。

若い人が、芸術への道を進むかどうか悩んだときに、
読むのと役に立つことがわかりました。

この本を読んで、ピンと来なければ、
DVDの天使にラブソングを２を見てみてください。
