最後が「えぇー！？」という感じだった。「なんでそうなるの？？？」っと突っ込みたかった。読み進めていくうちの深読みは徒労だった。私の時間を返して〜。

「慟哭」直後の作品であるために、著者本人があとがきで書いているように同作品を意識しすぎて「完成度が低い」。初出版を改稿したようなのですが、最初からサクサクはいつも通りなれど途中からちょっとズレてきて、最後のどんでん返しはどう考えてもスベってます。パスしてもいいかも。

「慟哭」では、緻密な描写、練られたストーリー展開に感心して面白く思った。それで期待して呼んだのだが、駄作の極地としかいえない。
信じられないほど、軽薄で思慮のない主人公の人物像。ひねっているつもりかもしれないが、全くリアリティのない「ヤクザ」と絡むストーリ。強引で、狙いすぎのヒロインのエンディングでの自殺(どう考えても無理があるだろ)
全てが、3流以下。「慟哭」はまぐれの快作だったの？
