1947(昭和22)年、熊本生れ。少年時代から小説を書き始め、’71年「美亜へ贈る真珠」で作家デビュー。代表作は『地球はプレイン・ヨーグルト』(星雲賞受賞)、『未踏惑星キー・ラーゴ』(熊日文学賞受賞)、『サラマンダー殲滅』(日本SF大賞受賞)など(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

書き下ろしを含む短編集です。
表題作「黄泉びと知らず」は大ヒット映画「黄泉がえり」の
原作のアナザーストーリー。
短編ならではの切れ味で、淡々としかし味わい深い佳作だと思います。

他の収録作は主にアンソロジー、
異形シリーズ収録作から編まれていて、
梶尾作品の別の面が垣間見れます。
「癒し」を求めて購入した人は面食らうかもしれません。

「小壷ちゃん」とか「魅の谷」とか。

しかし、梶尾作品はこの多様性にこそ醍醐味があるとおもうので
「癒し系」だけではない、いろんな傾向の作品を楽しんでください。

「黄泉がえり」の映画化にあわせて書かれた短編である「黄泉びと知らず」。
SF要素は全くなく、元夫婦の悲しい現実を描いた話です。
映画に感動した人には、絶対におすすめしたい作品です。

他に収録されている短編は、カジシンらしい、SFショートショートが多く、
「黄泉がえり」だけの読者には違和感があるかもしれませんが、

逆に、これでカジシンワールドの本質に触れられるとも言えます。
オススメは「接続された女」。
カジシンのテーマである「愛」の表現方法は、本当に多岐にわたっていて驚かされます。

「黄泉がえり」の感動を再び！と思って購入したんですが、いくつかの短編の中で、「黄泉がえり」に関連した作品は１本目の「黄泉びと知らず」だけでした。
最初はちょっとがっかりしたんですが、読み進めていくうちにカジシンワールドにはまってしまいました。

梶尾真治さんの作風（短編）って星新一に似てるんですね。

星新一が好きな人は絶対に気に入ると思います。
