4.0 out of 5 stars 仕事に対する考え方を見直すきっかけ, 2006/4/10
仕事に生きがいを見出せない主要因として、世の中の「理不尽」に耐えられないことが挙げられていた。「理不尽」の詳細を議論した上で、「理不尽」を自覚すること・無視しないことが大切であると言及していた。これらを踏まえ、人生において大事な仕事は、「具体的に何かをすることでなく、生きることそのものを常に優位におくこと（仕事を通じて自らを完成させていくこと）」であるとしていた。 本書は、２０代から５０代までの著者分身を設定し、著者との対話形式という形で話が進められていた。その対話の中で、仕事に対する固定観念の再考を促すような具体的記述が随所にみられ、自分の仕事に対する考え方を見直すきっかけが得られたのはよかったと思う。

　この本を読むと、そうなんだよ！と共感を覚える所が多く、この人エスパーで、俺の心読んでんじゃねーの?と思った。
　この本は、悩んでる人に気づかなかったもう一つの道を教えてくれる。だけど、その道は今いる場所より苦しみに満ちていて、苦しみから解放されたい人には、全然救いにならないような気がしてならない。だけど、苦しみぬいてその道を歩いて行く事は価値のある事だと素直に思える本です。

僕は学生ですがやりたいことが何もないしできれば何もしたくないと思っています。この本は僕のような人が読んで「こう考えていたのは自分だけではなかった」と気づかせると同時に、曖昧だった自らの思考・感情を言語化することに役立ちます。
自分が納得できていないまま働くことを要請される日がいつかきます。そのときになんらかの答えを出すのにこの本は一助となるでしょう。
