讀賣新聞の編集手帳でこの本が紹介されていて、気になり購入しました。 先にこのレビューも読んでいたので泡坂先生のトリックとやらがどんなのか、ありとあらゆる角度から想像してから読みましたが、読後は「まさか!うそやろ?!」の連発でその後は「すげ〜」の一点でした。 ま、こんな僕に想像できる範囲でのトリックならみなさんのここまでの評価は得られてませんが…汗 とにかく面白かった。 最後に泡坂先生のご冥福をお祈り致します。

何の変哲もない推理小説でした。ふむふむと読み進みました。読み終わって、何かが物足りないのです。　どこが？　すなおな私としては、ふと疑問を感じました。そのとたんに、ひらめいたのです。なんと、・・・だったのです。　有名な本らしいですが、恥ずかしながら私は今まで知りませんでした。　推理小説ファンなら、必ず読むべき書の一冊と明言できます。　泡坂さんの書のとりこになりました。

本の背表紙にある内容紹介からして変な本だなぁとは思ってたけど、
最後まで読んで本当びっくり。マジシャン作家の面目躍如たる作品。

一見正統なミステリ作品のようであり、その実後にも先にも
誰にも真似できない徒花のような本ですが、素晴らしい試み。
もちろんミステリ作品としても面白く読めました。

シリーズ第２弾ということで飄々としたヨギガンジーのキャラは
相変わらずですが、前作を読んでなくても全く問題ありません。
とにかく特異で、何より驚かされた一冊。拍手。
