いやぁ、これは堪能した。
経済小説とあるが、単なるビジネス本ではないです。
というか、巷にあふれるビジネステキストやらはやりのMOT（もう古い？）
何ぞ読み開くくらいなら、この小説の方が何倍も勉強になる。
それも、楽しく、興奮し、ハラハラしながら読めるんだから、実に有益だ。

飛ぶ取り落とす勢いの主人公が、その鼻息の荒さが災いし閑職に飛ばされる。
ここらの悲哀は大変よくわかる。
やれる人間ほど、成果をかさに、知らず知らずのうちに傲慢になってしまう。
これは厳しく自戒させられた。
しかしのその逆境から、学び、また人を育て、人とともに作り上げる喜び
を知る。
実に学ぶべきところが多い。

多くの特に若手サラリーマン、あるいはこれから社会に巣立つ学生等に、是非
読んでもらいたい。
更に、ビジネスと関係のない研究者等にも、「発想」がどういうふうに生まれ
るのか。この作品では、極めて明確に示してくれる。

これは最近類書を見ない、素晴らしいエンターテインメンツな教科書だと思う。

久しぶりにとってもおもしろい、あたりの企業小説！
逆境に追い込まれたサラリーマンが、
斬新なアイデアを実現していくための、
企業内外の様々な交渉を描いていく、
実におもしろい内容で、あっという間に読み終えました！

この著者の作品にしては、
ちょっと日本では現実離れした、
銃での殺し合いとかそういうのがなくて、
現実の日本の企業でも起こってもおかしくはない、
リアリティがあって、実に楽しく読めました。

おすすめの本です。

巻末の解説をみると、「経済小説として最高傑作の領域に属する作品と断言してよいだろう。」とあります。本作品を友人の勧めで読みましたが、大変面白い本でした。流通企業を舞台に、登場人物が苦しみながらも熱意をもってアイデアを練り、新しいビジネスモデルを実現していくさまに、途中で胸が熱くなる思いでした。リアリティがあり、かつ無駄な描写がないのでスピーディに話が進みます。出張の移動時間を使って、ほぼ1日で読破しました。
経済小説と人間ドラマ、両方が味わえる良書だと思います。
