~　アメリカに暮らしてもうすぐ9年になります。　沢山のお料理の本、名前入りマイ包丁、刺身包丁、蒸し器等など　日本の料理に必要な道具を全部もって来ましたが、長年暮らしていた田舎町では　食材が手にはいらず、美味しい日本食を作ろうという気がすっかりなえていた時　母が送ってくれたのがこの本でした。そのタイトル通り　シンプルで　でも必要な事はし~~っかり押さえたレシピ。その上、なんと材料も近くのスーパー（アメリカの片田舎）で揃えられるじゃない！　作ってみれば、材料がイマイチであるにも関わらず、結構美味しく日本のご飯が楽しめるんです。ほんとうに　ウキウキしました。日本食を食べ慣れないアメリカ人のお友達にも評判がいいです。毎日、忙しいお母さんや　海外生活をしている方にもぜひ、お~~すすめの一冊です。~

100文字と限られた中で紹介されたレシピは本当に簡単に出来ます。他の本の中でもレシピが載っていた事がありますが、単純なのにおいしく出来ます。休みの日にパパッと作りたい、手間を省いているようで押さえる所は押さえましょうという所も感心します。難しそうに思えるミートローフだって出来ちゃいます！このレシピは旦那もおいしいと好評です。

大きいサイズで販売された時にちょっと欲しいかなと思っていました。川津さんの本は手間を省きつつ、美味しいので。
でも他の本と被っているレシピもあるので躊躇していたのですが、文庫になっているのを見つけて、直に買ってしまいました。
本を折ったりするのが嫌なので大型本は持ち歩きたくないのですが、文庫なら安心。カラー写真で見ているだけで楽しいです。料理本、もっともっと文庫にならないかしらと思ってしまいます。
なお、レシピを１００文字に押さえるため食材なども少なくなっているかと思います。お野菜など適宜自分で追加してお料理すると良いかと思います。
細かい説明を読むのが面倒な方、自分でアレンジしたい方にお勧めします。
