銃執るものの掟

の四編で構成されたオムニバス。
ストーリーの核になるのは00buck弾を装填したショットガンである。
同じ銃が出てくるが、銃の所有者は代わっていく物語である。
大藪晴彦の「凶銃ワルサーP38」と同じパターンだが、
個々の人物の造詣は稲見一良氏の方が遥かに巧い。
クレー射撃の選手、中学生の少年、バーのマスター、余命幾許も無い老猟師へと
銃が流転していきます。
一番気に入ったのは、銃の流転に決着がつく最後の話。
老人が主人公の自然派ハードボイルドなので、
陳腐な都会派ハードボイルドとは比べ物にならない、
個性溢れる傑作。
都会の競争社会で負け組になったと思い込んで絶望している若者に読んで欲しい。
勝ち負けを超越した素晴しい自然が、地球にはあるのですよ。
ナイフをかざして突っ込むなら、
山奥で猪や熊と戦ってほっしいw
猪食べるとおいしいよね。
