とにかく先が読みたくて仕事も手につかないほど面白い。
きまった史実の中で、チーム二郎三郎はどう泳いでいくのか。
そして、大阪の陣へどうなだれ込んでゆくのか。
非常に楽しみである。


この人の作品には、人間　隆慶一郎の世界観が随所に現されており、
あー、こういう人だったんだなぁと思うと、
短い作家生活が惜しまれる。

　　これは歴史に隠された事実なのではないか、と思えるほど物語に説得力があり、また登場人物の皆がみなとても魅力的です。
　　歴史活劇を見ているように戦闘が行われ、謀略が繰り広げられます。活字を追いながら、頭の中に映像が現れます。字句を目で追うのがじれったくなるほどの活躍。

　　上中下巻と分量は多いですが、一気に読み切らせるだけの充実が味わえると思います。

史実をバックボーンにした物語の中で、この中巻はより創作性が強く
エピソード的な展開が数多く進む感じがする。クライマックスを控えた嵐の前の静けさ、肩の力をちょっと抜いた作者のイマジネーションが現れた作品と思える。
