誰の心の中にも絶対的に超えられないと感じる何かがきっとあると思う。それが彼にとっての金閣であったわけだ。人が生きて行くうえで様々なものからのプレッシャーを感じながら生きている。両親やルール、先輩などから。偉大な金閣との関係もさる事ながら、人間関係の描写が人の深い部分を全て出した感じで生生しさと共に面白さも感じた。中学生の頃に読もうとして挫折した作品だが、大学生になり、人というものも少しはわかってきたので、おもしろくていっきに読む事ができた。あと、作者独特の情景描写が素晴らしい。人間関係だけでなく情景にも注目して読んでみるとおもしろさのます作品だと思う。

なんでこんなに精緻で美しい文章が書けるのだろうか！と驚愕を禁じ得ない。
正直、読み進めるのは大変だった。難解な語句が頻出するし、仏教用語も多い。手元に国語辞典を用意しての読書だった。

軽い気持ちで読んでいるとすぐに文章についていけなくなった。集中して主体的に読み進めないと理解できなくなる。

テレビや音楽といった受動的なメディアと違い、活字は主体性が重視される媒体なのだと再認識させられた。
昨今の活字離れを背景に、大衆に迎合した軽い文章、浅薄な内容の作品しか書かないで作家気取りの人達の作品とは大きな違いだ。

日本語の美しさ、奥深さ、読書の醍醐味を満喫させてくれる作品。中・高校生にも是非読んでほしい。一生の財産になるはず。おそらく一回読んだだけで理解するのは難しいだろう。２度、３度読んでほしい。一生読める本だと思う。不世出の鬼才・三島由紀夫が日本人に残した宝だと思う。

日本語を母国語として育った人間で本当に良かった。この作品は日本語で読んでこそ真髄が伝わる。

はじめて三島文学に触れた。
非常に圧倒された。重い暗い感じの中に「美」についても書かれてあり、うまく言葉であらせないが、読み終わったあと、いままでの本にはない気持ちになった。
主人公の病的な気持ちの揺れを事細かに表現しているが、もしかすると誰しもこのような部分を少しは持っているのではとふと思ってみたり。
30歳そこそこに書いたとは到底思えない、迫力ある1冊。これはすごい。
