「風葬の教室」
幼さの残る少女。けれど度重なる転校を経て彼女の思考は大人のそれと代わらないほどにまで成熟している。
教師がよせる好意が彼女を追い詰めていくが、彼女は教室にいる級友たちを心の中で抹殺することで精神の安定をはかりそれに成功する。

大人と呼ばれる年齢になった今だからこそ恐ろしさを肌で感じる作品。

少女時代の女友達関係が陥りやすい、共依存を
緻密な心理描写で深遠まで描きこんでいる力作。
依存関係を終了させることは、大人へ近づく一歩。
その過程の苦しみや、終了した後の苦味もきちんと味わえる。

4.0 out of 5 stars 「もと少女」による、「もと少女」のための、あるいは現役の「少女」のための作品, 2003/1/5
表題二作とも主人公は「少女」である。大人の女性を主人公にした作品が多い著者にしては異色ともいえるが、いつもの作品の主人公たちの少女時代と思えないこともない。しかし、これはこれで、独自の世界を築いている。同時代の少女達よりは精神的に成長し、女性的感覚をもすでに持ちはじめている主人公たち。それゆえ、他の少女たちを精神的に見下し、彼女たちの子供っぽさを密かに揶揄し、そして、彼女たちとは違う観点から男の体の一部に引かれはじめる。まるで大人の女性のように。「もと少女」としてはどちらの観点からも作品を眺めることができる。著者の筆力は私たちにそのどちらをも可能にする。
