無垢な純粋さと大人の恋愛は、
実は表裏一体か溶け合っているものな気がして、
恋愛の色を、空気を、鮮やかにする本。

山田詠美の描く世界は、
独特でうんと彼女らしいものであるのに、
ちっとも透明でないヴィヴィッドな感じなのに、
色々な人の気持ちや考えを含めたり付け足すことのできる
自由な余白を持っていると思う。

あと、実はこの本の「あとがきにかえて」の
「放課後が大好きな女の子たちへ」がうんと素敵。
この山田詠美のメッセージを読んだことは、
中学生の頃のあたしにとって貴重な財産だ。

高校生の時に憧れを抱きつつ初めて読んだ山田詠美作品です。

女の子って素敵だな　恋愛っていいなと思いました。

ときめきや片思いのずっと先にはsexが待っているかと思いますが
そこまでもとても素敵に書いてくれるんですよね~。。。

高校生の時に出会えてよかったと思える本です
幸せですよね　そんな本に出会えるのって・・・

わたしをつくりあげるきっかけとなった大事な本。
甘美で高尚な安くない恋愛をしよう、
と少女の頃のわたしはおもいました。

今読み返しても、それはとても新鮮で、
本の中に出てくる「わたし」に憧れていた当時の
自分を思い出したりしながら、少し甘酸っぱい気持になります。

少女の頃に読んでも、
大人になった今読んでも、
すごく味わい深くて、いつでも、何度でも、
そのときどきに応じて色々なハーモニーを奏でます。

いつの時代もこの本は、
周りよりもちょっとおしゃまな女の子達の
バイブルになりうる、とあたしはおもう。
娘が生まれたらぜひ手渡したい本なのです。
