自分は今の仕事や立場で周りからの評価ばかりを気にしてストレスを
ためてしまう性格なので、遠藤選手が試合中に緊張しないというコメントを
聞いて、この本を読もうと思いました。

この本を読んで変わったことは、自分を信じて行動できるようになったこと。

個人個人、コンプレックスはもっているが、それは周りからしてみればたいした
悩みではないことが多々ある。自分で【行動】を起こせば必然と自分も変わり、
周りも変わる。そして、それは今すぐできること。それをできるかできないかだけ。

内容に関しては遠藤選手についての内容でしたが、伝えたいメッセージに関しては
自分のバイブルにしようと思います！！！

遠藤選手　が　こんな考えでプレイしている
選手なんだろうなぁ
と　おぼろげに感じている全ての人に
やっぱり　そうなんだと思わせる1冊です。
ほかのプロ選手の本に比べても
万人にやっぱりそうなんだ。
と感じさせてくれる本だと思います。
必読です。

遠藤保仁…黄金世代と言われていた当時の世代で最も若く、そして最も地味な司令塔。

同世代の小野、小笠原、本山などが前線で鮮烈な輝きを放ったWYで中盤の底でバランスを取りながらゲームメイクをするレジスタの役割をこなして影ながらチームに貢献。
以降フル代表に選ばれても層の厚い中盤でレギュラーに選ばれる事も出来ず、ドイツW杯では唯一出場機会のない選手となった。
しかしそこから彼は進化する…。
オシムに監督が変わり独特さに磨きをかけたコロコロPK、豊富な運動量や体を張った守備などプレーの幅を広げ気が付けば黄金世代唯一のレギュラーとして代表に君臨する事になった。

しかし彼のプレーにおごりは見られない。
天才と云われる選手にありがちなおごりが彼は一切ないのだ。
それは彼の人格にも理由があり、彼の職人のようなプレーへのこだわりや妥協を許さない心構えなどがそうさせないのだ。
そして常に自然体でプレーする事でチームに安定と安心感を与えれる存在。
そんな遠藤選手の本質がわかる著書です。
