　本屋につれていって「好きな本１冊買ってあげるよ」
と言ったところ
　６歳の息子が選んだのがこの本
　「難しいけどね、さがして見つかると
あーこんなしかけになっていたのか~
って思って面白い」
と夢中です。
　そして、
「お母ちゃん、これどこにあるんだろう？」
ともってこられると、
私が子供より夢中でさがしてしまいます。

精巧なミニチュアでつくったジオラマのなかに
　思いがけないものが
そのままのかたちで置かれていたり、
　宝の地図に騙し絵がかくれていたり、
　開いたページの隅から隅まで
じっくりながめて楽しむ素敵な写真の絵本です。

I spyシリーズの中でも最新の「たからじま」は、
ストーリー性が高く、物の隠し方も凝っているので
一番のお気に入りです。
洋書に抵抗がなければ、
著者が出した新シリーズCan you see what I seeもおすすめですよ。
残念ながら日本語版はまだみたいです。

６歳の娘が手にしたときは子供の絵本コーナーにあったため，当初は大して期待していなかったのですが見事に裏切られました．精巧な町並みとそこに隠された仕掛けの面白さに家族全員がはまっています．何回でも読み直せる上，子供には新たな物語の想像力を与えることもできます．ちょっとしたプレゼントにもお手頃です．
