私は特に『詩』好きではありませんが、楽しいと感じられる一冊です。学校で本を読む機会があるので、一つか二つ読むと楽しそうに聞いてくれます。特に人気があるのは「わるくち」です。読み終わると爆笑です。といっても、受けだけを狙っているわけではなく言葉遊び的な感覚が楽しいのだと思います。この詩をを読む前に、『わるくちを言ったことがある人？』と聞くと、正直に手を上げる子、言ったことなんかないという子それぞれですが、反応が大きいのがよくわかります。ちなみにわたしは「ぱん」が好きです。

簡単な言葉の響きを楽しむものから、ちょっと首を傾げてしまうナンセンスもの、ほんわかものまで沢山の詩が盛り込まれていますので、一年生だけでなく幅広く子ども達に楽しんでもらえる本だと思います。
「たいこ」や「パン」は読み聞かせもいいですし、「なまえ」という詩は、一年生の子どもを持つ親御さんは、子どもの成長を感じで胸が熱くなるのではないかと思います。この「なまえ」が、私は一番好きです。

言葉遊び、ナンセンス、思春期、哲学、
わけのわかんないものから、
しっとり泣きたくなるものまで
いろいろごちゃまぜの一冊。
一年生の長男に頼んで、借りてきてもらいました。
私が読んで、その後、長男が読んだのですが、
いまいち分からないものが多かったようで、
寝る前に、読み聞かせました。
どうしても好きになれないものもありましたが
子供といつもとは違う話ができました。

谷川さんは大好きなのですが、
さすがに、現役の一年生とは感覚が違います。
タイトルのミスも含めて
採点はちょっぴり辛めの3点。
