今年の春、わたしもママになりました。今はまだとっても小さいですが、「あかちゃんてね」をみると、一年で顔も変わるし、からだもとても大きくなるのがよくわかります。成長が楽しみであるとともに、毎日がとても大切に感じました。
新生児から１歳になるまで月ごとの写真が載っていて、成長がとてもわかりやすく、おねえちゃんからみた、妹の話になっているので、絵本としても写真集としても楽しめます。赤ちゃんもとってもかわいいです。読み聞かせにも向いている絵本だと思います。
妊娠中に方に、そして、ご出産のプレゼントにもとても喜ばれると思います。家族みんなで楽しめます。

ある女の子のいる家にあかちゃんが誕生しました。
その女の子の目で見たあかちゃんが
綺麗な写真で少しずつ成長していきます。
あかちゃんの特徴を的確に押さえていて
とてもうなづける本です。

我が家も
「女の子が居るところにあかちゃんが誕生した」
という家庭なのですが

あかちゃんがわたしのことを「ねぇーね、ねぇーね」ってよぶんだよ。

というフレーズは
思い出してなんだか温かい気分になりました。

今あかちゃんはいない人も、
いる人も、
かつていた人も
ほんわかした気分になれる一冊です。

星川さんの写真絵本シリーズで、今年度の読書感想文の低学年の課題図書にもなっているようです。
生まれたばかりの赤ちゃんの１年間の様子をお姉ちゃんの視点で語ります。赤ちゃんの成長とお姉ちゃんの成長。子ども自身の成長の振り返りとして。また、赤ちゃんをこれから産み育てる人にも見てもらえたら…と思います。
星川さんの写真絵本シリーズは『ぼくのおにいちゃん』『となりのしげちゃん』『ぼくたちのコンニャク先生』…他、多数あり、またハンディを持った人をテーマにしているものも多くあります。子どもにもわかりやすくすうっと入っていける内容です。
