僕は、４６歳のおっさんではありますが、
この本を手にとり、改めて日本語を学びたいなと思いました。
海外へ出たことのある日本人の多くが、日本の事をあまりに
知らない現実に愕然とした経験をお持ちだと思いますが、
感じような感慨をの本を読んで感じました。
大変情けない話ですが、少しずつでも始めていきたいと
思います。同じような境遇の方に大変お薦めの本です。

小学館辞書編集部が選ぶ残したい日本語の辞書

内容は
・日本の色
　　浅葱色（あさぎいろ）や江戸紫（えどむらさき）など名前だけは聞いているが
　　実際の色を口絵で載っています。
・後生に残したい日本語
　　懐かしい日本語を２１００語載っています。
・自然の言葉
　　雨、風、雲、雪、空など自然に関係ある言葉
・擬態語
　　ぱらぱらなど擬態語、擬音語が載っています

ひいて使う辞書ではなく、読んで楽しむ辞書ですが、
確かにいい言葉がならんでいるなぁと思います。
少し残念なのは、何故その言葉が残したいのかの熱い思いが
薄いのと、清明などの少し難しい言葉が載っていないことです。

それでも、厳選された２１００語は確かに日本人として
知ってほしいなぁと思う言葉なので、もっておいて確認すべき
本ではないかと思います。
