このシリーズは今も新刊が出れば買ってしまいます。

…でも、シリーズ４作目の「星のしるべ」は、主役達の絡みが殆どなくて、私は読んでいて退屈に感じてしまいました。
シリーズ３作目が面白かっただけに、がっかりした反動も大きかったのか、４作目を読んで持っていた小説を手放しました＾＾；

恋愛嗜好の強い方には、物足りないかもしれません。

この巻での大きなテーマを一言で挙げると
「子供から大人への変化」ではないか、と感じた。
「成長」ではなく「変化」ということばを選んだのは、
「成長」という単語が肯定的な意味合いを含んで
いるのに対して、「変化」という単語にはそういった
ものがないからである。
つまり、大人になることが必ずしも「プラスの方向へ
変化しているわけではない」ということである。

子供の頃には何も気にせずできたことが、
大人になるとできなくなる、ということが、
ラビサと幼馴染の間でのやり取り、
ヨシヴ達大人のやり取りの中で表わされており、
自分自身の行動も考えさせられてしまう。

今回、新たなキャラクターが多数登場したが、
全体の大きなストーリーの流れとしては、
砂嵐旅団の残党への手掛かりを入手したこと、
新しく未知の敵（？）が出てきたことにより、
展開が読めなくなってきている。
