読んでまず印象に残ったのが、スペースの７０％収納という言葉です。今までいろいろ押し込んで収納したつもりでいましたが、この本を読み、それがそもそも間違いだったと気づきました。スペースの７０％なら探し物はすぐ見つかるし、ゆとりがあります。掃除も楽です。ものを無駄に増やさなくなります。また物をむやみに捨てるのではなく、とことん使い切るという考えも納得です。そして新たに購入するときは、自分の好きなものを選ぶのです。するといつのまにか自分の好きなものだけに囲まれた暮らしができるのだそうです。私はまだ始めたばかりですが半年後、１年後の我が家を楽しみに頑張ります。
