　行きつけの本屋の店頭に並んでいたのを、きれいな表紙の絵に惹かれて、思わず手に取って買いました。｢天国の本屋｣は友たちに借りて読んだばかりだったので、すんなりとこの不思議な世界に入っていくことが出来ました。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

　今回の話は地上と天国の２本立て。しかも２つの話は密接につながっています。かといって、話の筋を追うのは簡単で、非常にリラックスしたまま読み進めることが出来ます。地上から天国へと話が替わるとき、いちいちせりふが呼応しているのが面白かった。

　話の展開はありふれたもので意外性には欠けますが、読み終えた後のあの後味のよさは前作を越えたかな。ピアノを習っていたらもう少し深く楽しめたかもしれない。
　また前作同様、日本の童話や世界の名作が印象的に使われていて、本好きにはたまりません。本っていいなあと思わせる秀作です。

まるでドラマのような筋立てで進むストーリー。天国と地上の２つの世界で起こる出来事がシンクロし影響しあう中で、水を飲むようにぐんぐん読み進むとクライマックスの花火大会へ。

過去にとらわれて前に進めずにいたり、未来が見えなくて今日を無駄にしたり、不満だらけの毎日に本当は何かを求めていたり・・・。そんな登場人物たちがそれぞれに思い描いてゆく、まるでなにものかに導かれるようなエンディング。

作り込み過ぎかなって思うこともないけど、ファンタジーということで、夏に向けてちょっとわくわくするようなハッピーストーリーです。

今回、天国に連れて行かれるのはプロだったがリストラされたピアニスト。天国の本屋で朗読だけでなく朗読の伴奏をして、プロとしての自信を取り戻していく。本作は主人公がもう一人いて、商店街の町おこしとして昔やっていた花火大会を復活させようと青年会議所の女性が奮闘する。天国と現世、二つのストーリーが交互に進み、徐々に絡み合っていく。これまでの天国の本屋シリーズにはなかった展開です。

ストーリーがドラマチックなので映画化されるのも納得です。

恋火は、あまり楽しめなかった。
映画になっているそうなので、それも観てみてたいとは思います。
