何気なく手にした一冊が、読み応えがある、余韻の残る､記憶にも残る一冊だったら、これ以上の幸福はない。そんな一冊だった。
恋愛をテーマにしているがパターンがなく、それぞれに設定も小説としての長さも皆違う短編集である。それでいて何気ないセリフの影にいつも作者の姿が見え隠れする。やさしさと洞察力に満ちたフレーズは、疲れている人には鋭気を与え、過去に縛られている人には開放感を与えるだろう。
視覚的な小説、というのはよくある。この小説は視覚だけにとどまらず、聴覚･嗅覚･触覚までもくすぐって、必ずや読む人を無限の快楽に導くだろう。

短編集である。括りは何か？恋愛、出会い、別れ、セックス、そんな凡庸なものではない。日常からその男女だけが抜け落ちたような恋愛小説でには、飽きあきしていたところに打海氏に出会った。
男と女の、あるときには女と女のふと、互いに放つ微弱な電波が、ぶつかり、訝しがり、弱気になりながらも次第に絡み合っていく様は、巧みな台詞回しと、削ぎ落とされた表現で実にスリリングだ。
先の展開がまるで読めない、という楽しみ。これこそ待っていた、望んでいた小説だ。視覚的な表現だけではない。嗅覚･触覚・聴覚まで総動員して感じ取れるような豊かな文体は、芳醇なモルトウィスキーのようである。
ラストが、これまたいずれも秀逸。無限の広がりを持った余韻が、いつまでも心の中に響く。
