そうきたか〜と思わず声が出てしまいました。

2007年の物語は、全ての人を見下している、39歳の中間管理職靖男が主人公。
自分はあらゆる面でイケテいると思っているこの男の妻国子が、覚えの無い子供を身篭ることで、
カレの危うい均衡が崩れていきます。
2035年の物語は、プロレスラーアムンゼン・スコット48歳が主人公。
プロレス人気は衰退の一途を辿っていましたが、彼は無敗のチャンピオンとして活躍を続けています。

この全く無関係に見える物語が、アントニオ猪木時代のプロレスをキーワードに、見事に繋がるのです。
面白かったです。『こうふくみどりの』も読んでみたいと思いました。

何気ない日常の出来事や、信じられない問題、家族
社会・・・全ては、つながっているんだよ。
自分だけが、いい人間なんて思うんじゃないよ、正と負、大と小
善と悪、だから人間はいきていけるんだよ。
生まれ来るときも、死を迎えるのも、ひとりなんだから。
でも、どこかで必ず事実はつながっている。
それを受け入れないとね。

それに気づいたとき、みとめたとき
連帯感と幸福感に包まれる・・・そんな脳天がつきぬけそうな感情が
こうふくあかの　には詰まってます。

２００７年と２０３９年の物語が交差する不思議なお話。

２００７年のお話は、
妻が自分の子ではない子を妊娠した男の話。
なんていうか、
妻に対する想いが自分勝手で、
外面はよく思われようとする男の身勝手さが
溢れていて、あまり共感できなくて
非常に読み進めるのがきつかった。
中盤以降、次第に追い詰められながらも
悩める姿に少しずつ、頑張れよ〜なんて思いながら読めたけど。
最後、子どもが産まれ、
その後、彼の取った行動、
それが２０３９年の話に繋がって行くわけだけど、
その辺は上手いなぁ〜と思った。

正直、
２０３９年のプロレスラーの話しとどう絡んで行くのか、
と思ったけれど、
しっかり２００７年と２０３９年が繋がっていて
思わず「お〜〜〜っ」と感嘆してしまいましたよ。

今作も
前作「こうふくみどりの」に引き続き
猪木が実に良い働きをしている。
何故に猪木にここまで入れ込んでいるんだ！西さん。
