野球の小説かと思ったら、違いました(笑)
けっこう下ネタも出てくるので、苦手な方にはおすすめしません。

職業に貴賎はありませんが、最初は白い眼で見られるお水商。
しかししかし、公立中学で抑圧され、駄目な子の烙印を押されていた青少年たちが、お水商で才能が開花します。
抜きん出ているのがスポーツでした。

教師陣が魅力的で、なんだか普通の高校よりも楽しそうですw

劇作家さんだからか、細かい感情の書き込みとかはありませんが、たんたんと進んでいくので読みやすいですv

ぴりっと風刺が効いていて、ところどころに不覚にも感動させられる場所がw

どちらかというと「どすこい警備保障」の方が好きですが、こちらもおすすめですw
軽くさらっと読めますv

初めの方は非常に興味深いです。語り口が軽い感じなのもグッド。水商売だって立派な専門職であり、プライドを持っていいのだ、しかし技術はしっかり学びなさい。そんな学校の話です。授業風景や実習など、笑えたり新鮮な部分が多々あります。ただ、途中から何故か高校野球の話になってしまう。半分以上が野球の話じゃないですか？　面白かったのは最初のほうだけで、あとは作者の趣味によって話が進んでいく感がどうしても拭えません。全体の評価としては、アイデアだけっていう風にも言えます。かる〜く、おやつ程度に読むのがいいんじゃないでしょうか。作品には全く関係ありませんが、作者の方の評判があまりに悪いので、ちょっと今後が先行き不透明な感じもします。

　新聞の書評で取り上げていたので、読んでみました。出だしは、「何だ。こりゃ。こんなのが小説になって良いのか」と少々ふざけすぎた内容に憤り、やがて水商のクラブ活動に話しが及ぶと、思わず水商の生徒を応援している自分に気付く。なかでも野球部の甲子園出場、並みいる強豪を次々と倒していく彼らの活躍は痛快だ。そして、現在の高校野球や学生スポーツのあり方からプロ野球まで、あるいはマスコミ報道についても批判が述べられていて「う~ん、そうだよなあ」とうなずく。
　そして、水商に通わざるを得なかった野球部マネージャーの顛末や教師の恋愛などが純情に描かれていて、爽やかな感動をよぶ。
　読み終わってみると大好きな一冊になっていた。
