「夫の寿命は９年縮まり妻はせいせい生き直す」という帯コピーに魅かれて読んだ。自らの離婚を語る１２人の妻たちの「名言」（啖呵？）の数々はしびれる。腹をくくった女性の強さと潔さ。最近話題のモラルハラスメントの実態もわかり、夫への心のモヤモヤの正体がわかってスッキリした。巻末の著者とパートナーシップ専門のカウンセラーとの対談もおもしろかった。カウンセラー氏が語る夫婦問題を解く３つの「鍵」に希望の光が・・・

2.0 out of 5 stars 問題に直面していて、解決方法を模索中なら参考にならない。, 2009/3/26
最終的に離婚を決意した「被害者」が、ああ矢張り私は間違っていなかったと安心できる本だとは思いました。
夫婦間・家庭内という密室で起きる問題をこのように取り上げて、なぜ起きるのか、どんな事をされているのか、それはおかしいと妻たちが気付く瞬間というのは読んでいて確かにカタルシスがあります。
しかし様々な事例が掲載されているために、自分にとっては参考にならないケースばかりだ…と思ってしまったのは否めない。現在問題に直面しているのなら、その原因「モラルハラスメント」「セックスレス」「浮気」それぞれ自分が必要な情報を特化して取り上げている本を探した方がいいかも。
私にはその方が「高いお金だして失敗したなぁ」と後悔しなかったでしょう。

著者は抜群に文章が上手い。読み手に伝えたいことを押さえつつ、程よいスピードの波に乗るように読み進めることが出来ます。それも、過不足なく、読み手が戸惑わない程度の問題提起をしながらです。
編集もすばらしい。後半になるにつれ専門家のことばを入れながら、一社会人、家庭人として第３の視点をも失わない。ラストには再び生の声を活かして、ひとすじの希望の光を差し込んでいる。高品質のドキュメンタリードラマを見終わった後のような、清々しさを感じる本でした。
