天野可淡、デミー・ムーアも所有している堀佳子の人形も素晴らしいが、恋月姫（こいつきひめ）の『ビクス・ドール』もそのリアルさにおいては凄まじい。実物を見る機会があれば是非見てほしい。腕の血管が浮き出ている造形力などは、まるで生きているかの様でもあり、死んでしまっている様でもある。普通のいわゆる着せ替え人形とちがい、伝統的な技法により複雑な工程を経て製作されているが、これが、焼き物（簡単に言って）だとはとても思えない程、寒気がする完成度だ。実物は200万円以上（現在はもっと高額だろう）して、とても購入は出来ないが、この写真集は速攻で購入してしまった。値段的な価値ではなく、美術品としての価値が、これから増してゆくに違いない恋月姫のビスク・ドール。趣味でガレージ・フィギアを製作する者として、憧れの作品であり、見本の一冊でもある。97点。

今話題の人形師、恋月姫の初めの作品集です。彼女の創る人形は今にも息をしそうなくらいリアルで美しいのです。でも実際の人間とは微妙に縮尺が異なっており、それがなおさら人をひき付けるのかもしれません。眠り目の人形もあります。生きているように見えても、人形は人形に過ぎない…。恋月姫はこう語っています。人に媚びない冷たい人形の視線は、人間とは別の次元の生き物だということを感じさせます。

レビュー評価が非常に良かったので、お人形の世界は私にとって未知の世界「一体どんな世界なのだろう？一度覗いてみたいな」と興味本位でこの本を購入してみたというのが正直な本音でした。しかし、実際に手元に本が届いてドキドキしながらそのページを捲ってみたら・・・「本当にお人形さんなのだろうか？こんなに美しいなんてまるで生きているみたいだ」が開口一番の感想でした。どの子も美しくて儚げで繊細で、髪の先から指の先までまるで温かな血が通っている様にしか見えない。

お人形の世界に無知だった私でもこの様に強く惹きつけられ魅了されてしまう。興味が無くとも、一度は覗いてみる価値は充分にあると思います。貴女の感性に触れる何かか其処には在るかもしれない。
