セットで購入しました（三話が収録されたＣＤがついてきます）。毎日の読み聞かせや胎教にちょうどよい長さになっているのと、お話ごとに挿絵が違い、しかもどのページにもカラフルな挿絵があって、ページを繰るだけでも目でとても楽しめます。ボリュームがありますが、内容は100話以上収録されているので利用価値は高そう。これから活用したいと思います。

娘が二歳になったときに、セットで購入しました。それ以来、四歳の今まで毎日夜寝る前になるとこの本を持ってきます。最近ではお気に入りのお話などは覚えて口からでてしまうほどで、ほんとうに重宝しています。実家にかえるときも、旅行にも、必ずどちらか一冊、持ち歩いています。長い話と短い話、外国の話と日本の話もちょうどいい具合に混ざっているので、疲れているときなどには短い話、興奮しているときなどは長い話を読んだりします。寝転んで読むには本体が重すぎて腕がだるくなりますが、内容的には太鼓判だと思います。

5.0 out of 5 stars こちらの方が庶民的な話が多いと思います, 2006/2/15
　「生きる力・・・」がよかったので、こちらもあとから購入しました。こちらの方が私がよく知っている民話が多くのっているし、すごく短いお話しものっていて、小さい子供向きかもしれません。ですが、いずれにしろ、どちらも子供への読み聞かせには十分です。
　子供は同じ話を何回も聞くのがとても好きなので、この二冊セットがあれば、大きくなるまで持つと思います。ちなみにうちは上の子の妊娠時から使っています。上の子は2歳、下の子1歳ですが、反応が違うので楽しいですよ。

長いお話、短いお話が混ざっていて、読み聞かせにはいいと思います。
時間がないときでも短い話なら読んであげられ、子供も満足しています。
