今回６作目のダレン・シヤン予想外の展開にびっくりでした。

友達の裏切りや死いろいろな出来事を経験して一歩大人に近づいたダレン　そしてクレプスリーが初めて感情をあらわにして泣いた姿。最後には、思いもしない結末が・・・６作目は、裏切り、悲しみの多いい作品だけど一気に読んでしまいたい作品に仕上がってます。子供向けだけど大人が読んでも楽しめる作品だと思います。７作目が楽しみ・・・・

途中までかなりドキドキ・ハラハラしながら読んでいたのですが、最後になって「うそ！！そんなっ！！」という衝撃に胸を打たれました。その人の心の内が伝わってきて、もう涙が止まりません！！今でも思い返したり、また読んだりすると涙がこぼれます。
それまで感情を表に出さず、さらりと交わしてきたその人だったからこそ、私に衝撃を与えたのではなかったのかと思いました。

悲しいけど、なぜだか心がとても温かくなりました。ダレン・シャンの今までの物語の中で、一番心を打たれた物語でした。

４巻に入ってからはハラハラドキドキの場面が増えて、心臓に悪かったです。
『ダレン・シャン』は主人公に感情移入してしまいます。読みながら、『もし自分がダレンだったら…』と思ってしまう。もし私が彼だったら、彼のようには出来ない。彼のように強く、勇敢な行動は出来ないです。だからこそこの主人公のダレンを応援したくなります。

５・６巻で彼らを待ち受ける数々の死。彼ら１人１人の死に、涙が出てきました。
６巻で一番悲しかったのは、私の大好きだった人物の死です。彼はやっぱり素敵な人で、ヴァンパイア一族に必要な人でした。その人の悲しい結末に、初めてダレンに対して怒りを覚えました。

４・５．６巻と、私はヴァンパイァいうものに数々の疑問を持ちました。彼らの生き方は素晴らしい点もあるけれど、納得のいかない点が沢山ある。ダレンには完全なヴァンパイアにはなってほしくないと思いました。
早く７巻が読みたくて仕方ありません。
