辞書や図鑑は直ぐに手の届くところにおいて見たいときに見れる環境を作りたい。でも６冊セットとかだと場所もお金も取りすぎる。そんな中でこの百科事典を選びました。１冊にコンパクトにまとまっていますが中身は実写が多く構成も丁寧で満足しています。たまたま開いたページの内容に思わず興味をそそられるのは子供だけではありません。

子供の３歳の誕生日に同シリーズの英語館と併せて揃えました。壊れなければ５~１０年くらい現役で活躍してもらえそうです。このシリーズはどれも編集が良い印象なので子供の成長や関心の行方に合わせて買い足していこうと思っています。もっとも他のものは流石に小学生くらいにならないとダメそうな気がしますがこの百科事典と英語館だけは親がついて絵本感覚で始められます。上手に編集されているので子供が勝手に棚から降ろしてページをめくり始めています。

総合学習用百科事典ということで子供のために購入しました。でも、子供用の百科事典と侮る無かれ、これは親も楽しめる百科事典です。頁中の図や写真は綺麗ですし、内容も濃く、親の好奇心も十分に満足させてくれます。何といっても、ほとんどの頁に関連のホームページにアクセスできるようにインターネットのアドレスが記載されているのは優れものですし、加えて、博物館などの連絡先も併記されているのは涙ものです。家族で楽しんで使っておりますので、一家に一冊を勧めたいと思います。5000円は決して高くない。

高いのので、買うのにちょっと勇気がいりましたが、買って良かったです。３歳と６歳の娘が夢中で読んでいます。
内容は「あ」から始まって、各２ページずつの写真、絵入りの説明ですが、いろいろなことが載っているので飽きることなく見られます。

大人でも楽しめますよ~。詳しく調べるのには不向きかもしれませんが、（２ページなので）小学校低学年までだったらこれで十分だと思います。
