初めて楳図かずおのマンガを読みました。本当におもしろかったですし、考えさせられるものがあります。
これが何年も前に書かれたものだとは信じられないくらい、古さが全く感じられません。むしろ､現代を生きる私たちへのメッセージという感じです。
結末も一筋縄ではいかないですし、最後まで楽しむことができると思います。

ドラマを見た方でも、楽しめますよ。（原作のほうが断然面白いです☆）
これぞ名作！！と自信を持ってお薦め出来ます。最近読んだ中では、間違いなくナンバー１です。

これは私が出会って来た漫画の中でも最高傑作と呼ぶに相応しい漫画である。

ぐいぐいと読者を引き込む力、ストーリーのスピード感、物語自体が持つメッセージ性、どれをとってしても一級品である。
多少グロテスクな箇所もあるがそれをただグロテスクなだけで終わらせない描き方はさすが楳図かずおである、とうならざるを得ない。
色々な意味で一度読んだら忘れられない作品であろう。

恐怖という感覚は漠然としたものですが、その対象物が不明確なだけに恐怖心というものがより一層人間に与える影響と言うのが大きいのでしょう。物語は、少年の通う小学校が、まるで神隠しに遭ったかのごとく突如消えてしまいます。そして、学校が行き着いた先は荒廃した見知らぬ世界・・・。争い、欺瞞、混沌がうずまくその世界で子供たちは必死に生きぬこうとします。
