一巻のジャブで詰めた間合いに、飛び込む決意をしたのがこの二巻。
が、未だ作者の新しい土俵に対する不安のようなものを感じる。
まあ無理も無い。以前こんなマンガを書く人は居なかったんだから。

アンダーグラウンドをメインストリームに押し上げた漫画。
その第二ラウンド。必読。

４コマ漫画の面白さを存分に表した漫画だと私は思います！他とは違う独特な面白さがあって、笑いがこみ上げてきます。まるで吉田氏の世界をみている感じでした。特に普通の漫画に飽きた人におすすめです。

いまだにこの作品をフェイバリットとしてあげる者が絶えない。あの元・聖飢魔IIのデーモン小暮閣下までがおよそ十年前のこの作品を良書と薦めている。開いた者には一瞬でわかるだろう。良書のゆえんというべきか、すばらしさというべきか、なにせとにかく漫画という手法をフルで活かした作品なのだ。一種不可思議な雰囲気がページの隅々まで充たしている。ところで僕はやはりここまでの作品を書き上げる作者吉田に興味を覚えてしまう。ある者には作者吉田が暴力の権化として目に映え、ある者には作者吉田がユトピアを見出した者として目に映える作者吉田に、だ。まったくもって面白い。「人間を虫のように観る」とはルイス・ブニュエルの言葉だが、彼もまたそのような視点に病み付きなのであろう。
