さしずめ、「日本帰還編」といったところでしょうか？そして最終章・・・
ライドバック部再建へ奔走するしょう子ですが、ＧＧＦの追及から逃れてきた珠代を助けた事で再び争いに巻き込まれて行きます。その過程で密かに日本に舞い戻ってきた琳と再会。
だが、一見今までと変わらぬ彼女の笑顔に、しょう子は言い知れぬ違和感を抱きます。
彼女の変化はこれまでのつらい経験が齎したものなのか、あるいは唯一人イコンの光に包まれる事の孤独から由来するものなのか・・・？
クライマックスへ向けて、尾形琳の最後の舞いが始まります。その時、彼女が選んだ共演者(パートナー）とは・・・
表紙下のおまけマンガ共々(笑)、最終巻は目が離せません。

「バイクのように日常的なロボットがあったら……」そんなちょっと現実離れした妄想を裏付けるために、作者はリアルな未来社会を構想する。

ロボットのエンジンはエタノールベースの内燃機関で、下手な電気バイクよりも実現性の高いエコロジー仕様。周期的に昔に回帰しつつも新しい要素が加わるファッションの流行も、安直で実用性に乏しい未来志向ファッションを持ち出すマンガよりもずっとリアルだ。

そんなリアルな未来社会で、若者たちが時代に翻弄され、決心し、みずからの将来を勝ち取ってゆく姿は、この上なく共感できる物語を紡ぐ。次の最終巻が待ち遠しい。

作中のキーファの台詞、「いつの世も頭のいいバカどもが、セオリー通り行動してセオリー通りの無惨な結果を残すものだ。」にしびれますねえ。
この作品の要となる台詞じゃないでしょうか。
カサハラ氏は、現代社会を嫌悪しているとしか思えません。共感します。
