「本当に感じたいのは、もっと近くの人のぬくもりなのに」
その一言にこの漫画の全てが集約されています。
ツキが全くなかった主人公・イアンの一生は正にnot simple、だけど彼の望みはすごくsimpleなものだったと思います。
オチを始めに持ってきているので、切なさややるせなさをより強く感じました。

気付きにくい身近すぎる幸せを、改めて気付かせてくれる作品です。

漫画で、よく泣くほうです。
でも、この本は、私がイラストをやっていた者として絵が気に入って買った。
それが、どんな泣かせ漫画より泣いた。
泣いたと言っても泣かせ漫画のように、そのときだけ涙がダーじゃない・・・
心の中で、じわじわと、いつまでもくすぶる。
作者も多分、泣かせ漫画のつもりじゃなく、
海外のオサレーな漫画を軽く描いた感じがするけど。
スラスラと軽くあっという間に読める。

私の、近年の泣く漫画第一位です…他のは映画化やドラマ化しても
これは、この絵だからいい。

そして、あっという間に、オノナツメの本がそろってしまった・・・

とても日本人の描くものとは思えないこの『絵』。
凄いです、本当に。

物語自体は、一つ一つの出来事だけを見れば。
別に珍しいものではなく、有る所には在りすぎてるようなこと。
でもそれは、一人が、一度の人生で抱えるには大きすぎること。

だけどこれは、全て抱えて、全て乗り越えた。
一人の、ツキに見放された、たった一人の男の話。

救われることなく、報われることなく。
欲しかった物は、結局何一つ手に入ることはなく。
懸命に走った人生も、あっけなく終ってしまった、男の話。

誰よりも温もりを大事にしたかった彼だからこそ。
暗く、悲しく、切ない話の中でこの胸に宿る―――極上の温かさ。

読み終えたとき、不思議とたまらなく人恋しくなる。
そんな、素敵な漫画です。

完全版という形で世に出てくれたことに、多大な感謝を示しつつ(誰に？)。
☆５つ、文句なくオススメです。
