第３巻でも、今までと同様に漫画にまつわる丁寧な作話がとても好感もてます。多少は強引であったとしても、漫画を愛するという通奏低音があるなかでは許されてしまうんですよね。情報が多いので、出てくる全ての漫画を読んでいるわけではありませんが、というより、読んだことのないもののほうが多いのですが、読んだことのある漫画が出てくると素直に嬉しいです。そして、その扱われ方に不快感を感じたことは今のところありません。そういう意味で、だいぶこの作者さんには信頼感を持ってます。

今回の話では、海外の旅先で日本人同士の間で交換される漫画の話が良かった。今でも、旅先で知り合った日本人同士での本の交換はなされているのでしょうか?

この巻も安定した話が多くて、安心して読めますね。
内容にあわせて微妙に作中の雰囲気が違うのも楽しい。
梅図サロンを率いる超絶美少女の気高さ、
世界を回る「日本の味」な漫画と思い出、
毎日の生活を支える夕食の献立、
幻の獣を求めて集う「何か」を探す男たち。
それぞれがそれぞれの生活の中にある「感動」の、
その端っこにある漫画という愛しい、嬉しいものたち。

「読むものがないな、と思ったら、子供のころに読んだ漫画を読むといいよ」というのには深く納得してしまった。
そしてこの本に出てくる漫画って読みたくなってしまうんですよね。
たぶん今でも梅図は読んだら夢に見そうだという予感がします（笑）。
