実は美味しんぼはあんまり読んでいないただの料理好きです。料理の写真（どれもおいしそう）と漫画の抜粋と分量の書いていないレシピで一品4ページ。一品一品は必要最小限の情報に抑えているので、品数がたくさんでめくるのが楽しいです。いくつか作ってみましたが、どれも簡単でおいしかったのでびっくり！そんなに手の込んだものはないけれど、素材の妙を楽しんだレシピに感心してしまいました。分量が書いていないので、ある程度料理にこなれた人向けかな。漫画の方ももっと読んでみたくなりました。

写真は大変綺麗です。
どれを見ても美味しそうです。
でもレシピの材料の数量が記載されていません。
よって私のような日頃料理をしない人間が見ても、
とても作れません。
せっかく料理本として出版したのだから、
それぐらいの配慮は欲しかったです。
期待していただけに残念でなりません。

カスタマーレビュー賛否両論ですが
おそらく、この本からは、原作漫画以上の調理法は
ほとんどひきだせないだろうというのが実感です。
なので原作を所有していたら必要ない本とも言えます。
分量がほとんど載っていないので、料理本というには
看板に偽りありとしか言いようがありません。
海原雄山なら、この料理本を何と表現するでしょうか。
「ここから料理を発展できない人間に読む資格はない」でしょうか。
恐らくそうではないと思います。
「出版社と作者の良心を疑う」でしょう。
雄山の一番嫌いな儲け主義の本になってしまっています。
