ガチャガチャの弱小企業で働く田西敏行２７歳の哀愁漂う日々を描いた群像ドラマ。
毎朝満員電車に揺られ一日良い事も無く過ぎ、妄想でしか夢が見れない虚しい現実をなんとなく生きている。
そんな彼にも『女神』がいて、同社企画部の植村ちはる。
しかし、新入社員で入ってきた彼女と一年以上もろくな会話も出来ずにいて、
会社の飲み会が切欠でちょっぴり親しくなった所から物語が始まる。

満員電車でイカれたヤンキーに殺意を覚えたり、大手ライバル企業に働く同業者に嫉妬したり…
この不器用でカッコ悪い主人公に共感を持てるかどうかが、この漫画を楽しめる全てと言っても過言ではない。

連載中の雑誌を読んでいると、この一巻はプロローグでしかなくて、
田西が植村ちはるという今生きる張り合いを見つけて頑張るぞっていう展開みたいだ。
ちはるちゃんは、八重歯の可愛いちょっと抜けた感じのある２３歳の女の子で自称処女（たぶん間違いない）
田西に遅咲きの春は来るのだろうか？

駄目リーマンの日常をリアルに描いた作品!!
前作『ルサンチマン』のようなグロさはないけれど、30歳前後の、負け組み男子には共感できる部分が多いだろうな〜と思う。

花沢健吾先生の作品は、作者の優しい人柄が表れている丁寧な絵と、登場人物の仕草や表情のちょっとした描写、遊びの効いた小物の使い方が素敵だな〜と思いますです。

この味は、もっと話題になってもいいような気がする。

　同じ作者の「ルサンチマン」がとても面白かったので、単行本が
出るのを待って一気に読みました。
　どちらかというと「下流」な独身男を描く等身大のストーリーと、
独特なタッチの魅力的な作画は今回も健在です。
ただ、まだストーリーの序盤のためか、主要キャラたちの
かかわりあいが弱く、濃密なストーリーが走り出すところまでは
至っていないようですが、今後の展開に期待大です。
　また、今回のストーリーの舞台は西武線沿線〜池袋周辺です。
丁寧に描き込まれた背景は、もし周辺に詳しい方であれば場所を
特定できるのではないでしょうか。池袋は、個人的に
思い出深い街なので、いっそう楽しめました。
