神を自称するなかぬっさんの名は中西ではなく中主。なかぬっさんの手に触れると高見は彼が「神様である」ことを理由もなく確信する。何もしない神様。
「かむろば村」は本当は「神室場村」と書く。そのことがどこかとても不条理に感じられます。

もうカネを遣いたくない、カネ無しでどうやって生きていくのかと言う与三郎村長との応酬、高見はかむろば村で購入することになった中古のマイクロバスのネーミングライツに全財産を投入しようとします。

マイクロバスは「ほでなす号」と命名され、ザリガニ騒ぎ以来、再度のテレビ取材。
ここはもぐりの食堂だから取材はダメだと言うみんちゃん。
みんちゃんが仕事を辞めた経緯。それは「人の頼みを絶対断らない」与三郎村長。ただ、与える一方の「与」三郎村長。
彼の「自分を捨てろ」との言葉は「自分なんかどうでもいい」の裏返しなのか。

皆の抱えていた「過去」が交錯します。

既に手遅れの病、何でも治る温泉。そこに「神様」の投げかけたトンチが絡みます。

ガマンして学校に行き、ガマンして働いて、「生まれてから今までガマンして生きた」ことの結果が「カネ」なのか…。

村長の過去に迫る第3巻です。

金アレルギーのため辺鄙なとある村、かむろば村に移住した元銀行のタケちゃんも何だかんだお越しながらもかむろば村の暮らしに馴れ始めた頃…尊重に因縁を持つ男、多治見がかむろば村に足を踏み入れ…さあ、どうなることやら…?
因みにこの巻では村長の過去が明らかになりそこも見物。

ただのほのぼのファンタジーかとおもっていた「かむろば村」
どうもきな臭くなってきました。2巻でちょっとでた「ヤクザ」、別人ですがお話に絡んできます。
そして政治家も。。。
32年後にはなくなってしまうという試算が出ているかむろば村を政争の具にすべく、暗躍する隣市市議と村長と因縁の深いヤクザにより、村長や旅館の板前勝男、みんちゃんの過去がつまびらかになってきます。
2巻の青葉ちゃん騒動依頼、あっちこっちいったりきたりのタケの預金通帳。
何とか自分から離すためについにぶっ壊れた（こわした？）村営バスの出資金にとネーミングライツを申し出るタケ。
タケは「お金が嫌い」なだけでなく、「ものを買うために使えない」そして、「自分のために使えない」のです。どこかキリスト者的じゃないですか。
手元に残ったわずかなｵｶﾈはなかぬっさんが焚き火にくべてしまいます。
さてホントに一文無しになりました。4巻ではどう生活していくのか？少しはまともな野菜も作れるようになってきたみたいですが。。？ｗ
