「昴」はストーリをつくるのがものすごく大変な漫画だと思う。ふつうのバレエ漫画なら、ライバルとの対決やバレエカンパニー内での競争などを描いて主人公の成長を描くものだが、昴はそういう既定路線を踏まない。ただ己の中で如何に納得のいく踊りに近づいていくかが描写される。しかもあまり言葉による説明をつけずに。私はバレエのことは何も知らないが、この作品を読んでバレエの奥の深さやその表現の無限の可能性に触れることができた気がする。昴の11巻が出て五年。もう作者はバレエについて描ききったものと思っていた。11巻に登場したFBI捜査官はまさに作者の分身であった気がする。昴の心情を完璧に理解し、彼女がこれから使うお金の額まで完璧に予言できる人物。作者と昴が深い恋仲に陥ろうという異質な展開の一歩手前で作者は全てを停止させ「バレエとは何か」という哲学的な思索に終止符を打ったかに思えた。今回の新刊は五年前の行き詰った展開を打破し、再びバレエ哲学の新たな旅路に着いた意欲作である。・・・なんて意気込まなくても、誰が読んでも楽しい一冊だと思う。超おすすめ。

スバル。どんどん迫り来る不幸に追い詰められて、打ちひしがれて、
不幸と戦ったり、逃げ出したりしながら、それでも自分の居場所を探す。
最初の白鳥の湖のスバルの解釈が全てを物語っているように思います。
「ひとしきり抵抗したあと、運命を受け入れて生きていく。」

ただ、今は開き直りに近い状態。まだまだ全開じゃない。
彼女の悪いところはスロースターターだということ。
異質に妖しく光るスイッチが入るのは、本当に追い詰められて
自分の何かを削りとって私にはバレエしかないと覚悟を決めたとき。

後半やっとスイッチが入り異質な空気が劇場に広がり始めた。
バレエの本場に乗り込んだ異人が、才能で全てを凌駕する！
やはりスバルは、望まれていない環境で苦しみながら自分を表現する様がよく似合う！

それにしても、あの終わり方は読者にとって惨い！
あそこで次に持ち越すとなると、２巻は圧倒的な説得力で観客を侵食すると
期待していいのよね！

スバルのゾーンに触れたニコは、いったい何を視たのか！！
パ・ド・ドゥでスバルは何を表現するのか！！
待ちきれない・・・

結局アレックスやシステロンの仲間とはどうなったのかは分からずじまいな感じですが、心機一転!新たな場所で再スタート。

昴のカリスマ性や自己中っぷりは健在で、次は何をやらかしてくれるのかと、相変わらずわくわくさせてくれます。

目の見えないイケメンダンサーとパートナーを組んだ昴。彼女の本領ついに発揮?!
ワーニャの愛弟子だったカティアも、ライバルとして登場します。

ダンス中の臨場感たっぷりの描写も惚れ惚れ。
かなり続きが気になるところで終わってるので、次巻が楽しみ!

でも、ところどころ絵が雑なので☆4つで。
