集英社のハードカバー版があったけど、やっぱりこっちの方が読みやすいですね。
完全版だけの事はあります。
優れた作品は、大きいサイズで読むだけの価値を持っています。

それにしても購読者サービスキャンペーンが特大ポスター２枚って…。
イマイチ魅力に欠けるのが残念。

昔一世風靡した漫画ですが、最初は内容をよく知らず、単に暴力描写のきつい漫画くらいにしか理解していませんでした。しかし、読み進める毎にその誤解は払拭されました。

人間の尊厳や誇りを持って生きるという事を、うまく伝えてる作品であると思います。当時ラオウ編の最終話では、涙しながら読み進めていた記憶があります。

完全版として帰ってきた今、改めて読み直した作品です。

お薦めです。

　子供の頃は「気持ち悪そう」「男の子の漫画」と思っていました。
　しかし、大人となった今読んでみると、びっくりでした。
　漫画のおもしろさというものが、すべてが凝縮されたからです。
　
　『北斗の拳』は「気持ち悪く」も泣く、「男の子用の漫画」でもありませんでした。
　画力はすばらしく、拳はハンサムで強く、まさに夢のような「男」という点では、少女漫画の王子様より魅力的だからです。
　拳以外の登場人物も、「愛」に真剣に生きるすばらしい人物が多く、また、「人として正しいことの大切さ」をも真剣に説いてくれている漫画でした。
　もちろん今読んでも、全く古くないストーリーも画も、やはり日本を代表する傑作漫画として十分でした。
　全巻揃えて、捨てずに保管しておける（おくべき）漫画です。
　国語の教科書に「吉本ばなな」を載せるのなら「北斗の拳」を載せればいいのに、とまで思ってしまいました。
　なぜなら、男子生徒は「男」とはこうあるべき、と学べるでしょうし、そういう「男」が少しでも増えれば、日本の少子化は止まるような気がするからです。
　拳の子供なら、どんな苦労をしても産みたい！と思ってしまう私のような女性が、増える気がするからです。
　実際私は拳の子供ならすぐにでも産みたい・・。
　というくらい大人の女をも狂わす、日本が誇る傑作漫画です！
