好き嫌いが激しく分かれる作品なので、買う時は要注意です。
この漫画を読んで、人間こえーなー。とか、社会こえーなー。とか、
大人にはなりたくないなー。とか思ったけど、
何かに絶望しつつも生きていれば、この漫画の中の人達の様に
小さな奇跡が起こってくれるんじゃないかと、私はこの世界が好きになりました。
昔から「生きていればいい事がある」なんて言葉は、説得力の無い言葉だなーって思ってたけど、
その「いい事」っていうのは、自分が感じていた事よりももっと小さくて、些細な事なんだと気付きました。
絶望や失望の連続。もう何もかもが嫌になった時に出会う、
小さな「いい事」は、とてつも無く大きなものを自分に与えてくれるんだろうなぁ…。
奇跡的に、そんな「いい事」に出会えた現代人達の、それぞれが何かに吹っ切れた様子を描いた作品です。

　作品の内容も、作者の事も何一つ知らないのに、本屋で妙に気になって買ってしまうマンガというのがある。これはそんなマンガだった。
　そして先入観なしで読んだその作品がものすごい傑作だった時、真っ白な気持ちでよいマンガを読むことのできたうれしさと、自分だけのお気に入りを見つけたような誇らしさが湧き上がってくる。これはそんなマンガです。

　微妙につながりはあるけど、基本的には独立した短編集のスタイルをとっている作品。細めで硬質な感じの線で描かれる、特別可愛くも、かっこよくもないキャラクター。彼ら彼女らは、日常の中でどこか満たされない感じを抱えている。だれかに相談するほど明確なものではなく、叫びだしたくなるほど切実なわけでもない、だけど確実にそこにある不!安と焦燥。別にものすごいことは起こらないし、ストーリーのラストで問題が解決されるわけでもない。キャラクターは強くもなければ弱くもない普通の人間で、僕たちがそうであるように、その不安と焦燥と折り合いを付けながら、それでも日々を暮らしていく。淡々としたトーンでありながら、読み終わると何かが残る、そういう作品です。よしもとよしとものマンガにちょっと似たテイストかもしれない。
　この第一巻には9つの作品が入っていて、どれもすばらしいというハイレベルな短編集だけど、個人的な好みでは「坂の多い街」「シロップ」がオススメ。

私は普段マンガは全く読まないのですが、ある日兄にススメられ読んでみるとと意外に面白かったです。
ある日ふとこのマンガの存在を思い出し、無性に読みたくなり購入しました。
このマンガは短編ごとに分かれているのですが、次のストーリーへとなんらかの形でリンクされています。
描写されているストーリーは現実的であり、一つの話を読み終える毎に登場人物達が私に何かを語りかけているようにさえ感じます。
なかなかリアリティーのある良い作品だと思います。
これから読む方には、登場人物が語りかけてくる一つ一つの「言葉」を感じ取って頂きたいです。
